![]() He really, REALLY needs to get the spacing on his anti-air and side air, or play footsies to get the neutral grounds in. His hammer can work, but against high move/attack speed characters, the immobility is a deathwish. The key to axe Teros is to abuse the hell out of down light for its horrifically meaty hitbox, his side heavy for the meaty, far-reaching double swing, and his down light air for the speed of it. It's his faster, better weapon, and is more forgiving on the timing than the hammer. But that is already known by everyone.Īxe Teros carried me to mid gold. Plus Teros has really no chance with characters like Hattori. He's slow but he's strong, right? But is he really that strong? Let's look at the legend "Sentinel": So what do we have? A slow, timing based character who only has one reasonably useful weapon. ![]() It's easier to land hits on enemy players, it easy to pull of some cool combos, but let's not forget that this isn't enough. The Hammer is Teros best weapon, in any situation. I doubt most Teros, besides the ones above gold, can land more than 1/3 of their "F" moves on with the axe. ![]() The Axe is nearly uneffective.Teros axe is nearly useless in 1vs1 ranked games. We're talking about a timing based character - if he fails his timing and doesn't get the hit done, he's going to suffer a lot of damage. He's a slow character, you just need to let him make the first move and he's done. We're getting some complaints about Teros due to his damage and spamming abilities, but as a Teros player I'm hardly seeing how my favorite character isn't easily countered.
